Craig Dixon begins a holiday job as a night cleaner at Bank Cross Underground Station.
He meets the older cleaners Elsa, Frank, and Martha, who welcome him to the team.
Before work starts, Craig thinks that he hears footsteps in the dark tunnel, but nobody is there.
Elsa tells the young student to work hard at university so that he will not need a job like this forever.
