Craig wakes two hours later and discovers that the new wall has sealed him inside the old tunnel.
He returns to Church End and dreams of people sheltering from bombs during the Second World War.
Then he finds Tommy living secretly inside an old passenger lift with a radio and his flute.
Craig realizes that the mysterious music and voices came from Tommy’s hidden home.
